The other day my friend Klaudia and I were sitting in a class when suddenly my second pal came in. She came closer while me and Klaudia were reading Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone. Stop here for a while. Of course we’ve read it like thousand times, but it’s never boring. In fact, this is why I’m writing this post, the main thought of it is, what’s following: Harry Potter is not a book, it’s a lifestyle! So let’s go back to the scene. We were sitting and reading some best parts of the book, when my friend #2 comes. That’s alright, we’ve talked with her for couple minutes. Suddenly a bell rings and she moves forward to the door. By the door she pulls from her backpack OUR book (we didn’t even notice when she took it from us!), so I said ‘wait there!’ and then she THROWS IT in me! First, how can you throw a book? Second, how can you throw a Harry Potter book?! It’s just so unbelievable that she did it. After that my friend Klaudia kind of disliked her and I was just ashamed about her behavior. I just can’t understand it. Why do such thing? At least the book didn’t get hurt. I think Harry Potter is just so awesome. Sometimes people say it isn"t written in good style, or that there are some mistakes but most of them wouldn"t have written something that good in any universe, and the reason is because they do not have such talent as J.K. Rowling have. And also such great imagination. Because the thing with Harry Potter book is not only that they are written in perfect language and style, but also - they create a character - Harry Potter - and his world. And the world is just so perfect, so refined in every detail that once you read the book you want to move to this world and live there forever. The thing I really really hate is when people say that it"s a book about satan and some paganism stuff. I think it"s horrible to say things like that. Maybe church doesn"t approve the book, but let’s be honest - church doesn"t approve anything that is fun and cool. And i just don"t understand how some people can say horrible things about book that caused so many good. Thanks to Harry Potter many children who hadn"t read at all started their journey with books. Nothing could convince them to read but Harry Potter did! And how something that caused so many happiness on so many children faces can be bad and evil? Let"s be happy of being the Harry Potter generation and community and thanks to Rowling for making it happen.
